How to Upgrade to Windows 11

Step 1: Save/Close what files you have open and perform a full shutdown/startup of your laptop.

Step 2: Check for available Windows updates

Note: The Windows 11 update can take up to 7 days before it becomes available on your system.

Step 3: Select the Windows 11 update to begin downloading to laptop

Step 4: Click on the Window 11 to begin installation

Step 5: Choose when to reboot your laptop

Our recommendation would be to perform an Update and Restart, instead of an Update and Shutdown. This would ensure that you are able to fully complete the upgrade successfully. Note: This could take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to complete.
