HMA Subcontractor Cloud PC User Guide
HMA uses a virtual desktop technology called Microsoft Windows 365 Cloud PC. Your Cloud PC will have the full Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Edge installed for documentation creation and collaboration.
Prerequisites
Before you can access your Cloud PC, you'll need to meet the following prerequisites:
- Internet access
- A device running iOS or Android OS

- A device running supported versions of MacOS

Note: This was called “Microsoft Remote Desktop” in previous versions of the app, but has been updated as the “Windows App”.
How to Access HMA Cloud PC
1. Install and open the Windows App application on your MacOS device (icon below).

2. Navigate to the Device tab on the left-hand column and click the “+” icon towards the top-right.

3. Select Add Work or School Account.

4. Enter your HMA provided email address and then click Next.

5. Click Next to continue sign-in process.

6. Install Microsoft Authenticator app on iOS or Android device then click Next.

7. Follow prompts to complete Microsoft Authenticator enrollment & click Done.

8. Update your account password & click Sign in.

9. Your Cloud PC should now show up under the Devices tab. Double-clicking the icon for your Cloud PC will connect you to your new Cloud PC.
